Must perform venipunctures, assist in front/ back, perform vitals, injections, procedures and EMR notes.
Ability to assist the physician with data entries to Practice Fusion.
The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and support within a healthcare setting. This position involves managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and ensuring smooth operations at the front and back areas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology and have experience in a clinical environment, making them an essential part of the patient service team.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Manage patient check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar to optimize patient flow.
- Handle patient inquiries regarding services, and patient concerns.
- Perform vitals, assist in the back and minor procedures while assisting physician with data entry via Practice Fusion EMR.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations.
- Collaborate with medical staff to facilitate effective communication regarding patient needs.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
- Provide support in emergency situations by following established protocols.
Qualifications
- English as your primary language.
- Experience in a clinic or inpatient setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
