Job Title: Part-Time HR RepresentativeLocation: Palm Beach County (Boca, Delray, Lake Worth)

Reports to: Practice Owner/Practice AdministratorJob Summary:The Part-Time HR Representative will be responsible for managing the human resources functions within the doctor’s office. This role includes recruitment, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with HR policies, maintain accurate employee records, and support a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Assist in posting job openings, reviewing applications, and scheduling interviews.
- Conduct initial phone screenings and coordinate in-person interviews with management.
- Prepare offer letters and assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions.
- Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies and procedures.
- Assist in resolving employee issues and conflicts, escalating to management as necessary.
- Promote a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives.
- Benefits Administration:
- Assist employees with benefits enrollment and any related inquiries.
- Coordinate with benefits providers to ensure timely and accurate processing of benefits.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employee benefits programs and changes.
- HR Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with legal requirements.
- Assist in conducting workplace safety training and compliance audits as needed.
- Payroll & Attendance:
- Support the payroll process by collecting and verifying employee timecards.
- Track employee attendance and leave requests, ensuring proper documentation and approval.
- HR Administration:
- Update and maintain employee personnel files, ensuring all required documentation is complete.
- Assist in updating the employee handbook and other HR-related documents.
- Support office management in various HR projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Experience: Previous experience in an HR role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of HR principles and employment law.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a typical office environment.
- May require occasional travel between clinic locations.
