What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chef position at Boca Recovery Center?
- Includes everything relating to all meal preparations for the guests.
- Responsible for maintaining high standards in food preparation, production and consistency.
- Ensure that all food items are served in an attractive manner and garnished and decorated properly.
- Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
- Assist in maintaining an adequate supply of all foods (i.e. meat, perishables, etc.)
- Monitor and maintain sanitation practices to ensure that employees and clients follow standards and regulations.
- Maintain a professional level of conduct and effective working relationship with staff members and other departments.
- Attend all scheduled staff meetings.
- Deliver high quality customer service to internal and external clients.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- Understand and demonstrate social etiquette.
- Sensitive to considerations such as strong odors, noise in the kitchen at mealtimes and last-minute requests.
- Complete any various miscellaneous duties as requested by the administrative staff.
- Prompt and regular attendance.
- Other duties as agreed upon with management
