Sotto: Our Italian concept in Cincinnati, nestled away in a space that screams comfort, authenticity, and pasta! To pay homage to the ancient brick and mortar, Chef Falk developed the Sotto concept. Tenacious and restrained, hardcore and heartfelt, we practice the tradition of generations of chefs in an underground hideaway. Our menu is fire, meat, wheat, and above all, Italian.
Host Responsibilities
After completing a comprehensive training program, hosts will be expected to execute proper phone, greeting, and seating etiquette.
Initiates interaction with our guests and sets the tone of the guest experience
Uphold our highest standard of hospitality by being welcoming, courteous, and professional toward the guests and fellow team members at all times
Assisting guests with making, confirming, and canceling reservations, along with documenting any special requests in our reservation system
Escorts guests timely to their table, based on reservation size, preference, and server station rotation with proper placement of menus
Knowledgeably and courteously field guest questions, concerns, and inquiries.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not required
Extreme spirit of hospitality, flexibility, and very approachable
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Works well in a team environment, dependable, and displays good work ethic
