Job Summary:

- Boca West Country Club is seeking energetic, enthusiastic and experienced Cocktail Servers to join our team. This position requires you to offers members alcoholic beverages and appetizers in one of our restaurants or bars.

Job Responsibilities:

- Works in an assigned area such as a dining room or lounge and pleasantly takes drink orders from guests.

- Provides prompt, efficient and courteous service to customers.
- Garnishes cocktails, knows the brands, prices and the availability of all items to be served.

Presents the drinks to the guest.
- Familiar with wine list and items that it contains.
- Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines.
- Performs opening and closing duties in the service area.
- Maintains clean station at all times

Minimum Qualifications:

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

- Basic serving skills, knowledge of alcoholic beverages, have the ability to multi task, and be a team player with good communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Customer service oriented
- Dependable and punctual
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule - nights, weekends and holidays are required

Physical Demands:
- This position requires standing, walking and bending throughout the day and the ability to lift, stack and maneuver restaurant equipment and food trays that may weigh 30-50 pounds. Vision abilities required by this job include distance vision.

Education:

- High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age.

Experience:

- 1-2 years previous experience as a Cocktail Server preferable.
