OVERVIEW: The Hostess provides a welcoming first impression and exceptional guest experience by greeting members and visitors, managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring a smooth flow of service within the dining area. The Hostess plays a crucial role in maintaining the country club's standards of hospitality and professionalism.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Greet and welcome members and guests as they arrive at the country club when possible, using proper member name usage.
· Manage the reservations system and oversee waitlists.
· Assign and manage seating, ensuring timely accommodation for guests.
· Provide menus and inform guests about specials or events.
· Assist members and guests with inquiries and handle any complaints or service issues.
· Collaborate with waitstaff and kitchen to ensure smooth operation.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hostess stand and waiting area.
· Monitor dining area for guest satisfaction and proactively engage with patrons.
· Schedule and coordinate staff breaks during busy service times.

· This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
