Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently using the cash register, ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any guest concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Experience in fine dining settings is preferred, showcasing an understanding of upscale service standards.
- Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with cash registers or Aloha POS systems is advantageous.
