As our business grows and evolves, we have an immediate need for a Superintendent with experience in the real estate construction and property management industries. The Superintendent plays a critical role in executing our business plan and reports to the Director of Construction.

Requirements
- Project Management: Oversee construction projects in the Puget Sound area, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Monitor and drive project schedules, and collaborate with construction workers, architects, and engineers.
- Quality and Safety Standards: Implement and enforce quality, health, and safety standards on-site. Plan inspections and obtain approvals from local authorities.
- Team Supervision: Supervise team members, provide constructive feedback, and ensure effective communication with team members, outside consultants, vendors, and investors/owners.
- Construction Planning: Plan construction processes, order the appropriate equipment, and arrange for regular maintenance.
- Material Management: Keep track of material stock and orders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Issue Resolution: Resolve on-site issues and emergencies promptly to maintain project continuity.
- Administrative Support: Set performance goals and deadlines and monitor and report on project progress.
- Education: A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant field experience required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in supervising construction projects, preferably in multifamily developments.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines for construction job sites. Thorough understanding of construction operations and processes. Knowledge of theory, principles, and practices of construction & engineering.
- Skills: Strong initiative and diligence, ability to manage multiple concurrent assignments and deadlines, ability to adapt to changing responsibilities and project affiliations. Excellent analytical skills. Effective and professional communication skills, including the ability to interface effectively with other team members and external stakeholders.
- Technical Abilities: Ability to analyze and interpret technical materials accurately and effectively.
