Description
We are seeking a friendly and reliable Airstream Cashier to join our team. This role is responsible for taking customer orders, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Taking & Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and ensure a positive guest experience.
- Cash Handling & POS Operation: Process payments (cash, credit, and mobile) through the POS system and provide correct change when needed.
- Menu Knowledge: Have a thorough understanding of the menu, ingredients, and any special promotions to answer customer questions.
- Order Accuracy & Coordination: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered in a timely manner.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the cashier area, counters, and customer-facing areas clean and organized.
- Assist with Stocking & Prep: Help restock supplies, condiments, and beverages as needed.
- Support Airstream Operations: Assist with other duties as needed, including light food prep and closing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or cashiering is preferred but not required.
- Food Handlers Certificate (or ability to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
