Boutique litigation firm seeks a litigation attorney, with 4 years’ experience, that is self-motivated and capable of taking a lead role in litigation cases with little oversight. The firm specializes in large-loss insurance subrogation litigation in Colorado state and federal courts. The cases involve a wide variety of matters including construction defect, product liability, general tort litigation, and auto and trucking litigation. Attorneys with experience in insurance defense, construction litigation, personal injury, or general commercial litigation is preferred. Significant experience with civil discovery and depositions is required while trial experience is preferred.
This position has no minimum billable requirement. One can expect to work 40 hours per week on average, but the role would require more time as necessary based on your case load and schedule. The firm emphasizes a healthy work/life balance and is flexible with family/child-care requirements.

Responsibilities
- Manage civil litigation cases through the discovery process with limited need for oversight.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings and motions, ensuring clarity and compliance with legal standards.
- Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court, demonstrating strong writing and advocacy skills.
- Conduct thorough legal research.
- Collaborate with legal staff to maintain organized case files and ensure efficient office operations.
Experience Required:
Colorado licensed attorney with substantial experience handling civil discovery and depositions required. 5 years of experience including trials is preferred.
Compensation:
Base salary $110,000 - $180,000 per year depending on experience and competency.
