We are seeking an attorney with two to six years of experience in all aspects of estate, tax and business planning matters to work in Bodman’s Detroit, Troy or Ann Arbor office locations. This is a unique practice area that offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive and highly personal legal services to wealthy individuals, multi-generational families, executives, business owners, and their closely held companies.
Key Responsibilities
The position will require the attorney to transition among a variety of tasks, including drafting several different types of legal agreements (such as estate planning documents, advanced irrevocable trusts, prenuptial agreements, corporate formation documents and buy-sell agreements), handling estate and trust administration work, conducting legal research and providing advice on estate, gift and income tax matters.
Requirements
The ideal candidate is hard-working, detail-oriented, motivated, and has strong project management skills.
Admission to the Michigan Bar and outstanding academic credentials are required.
