The HR Specialist/Recruiter will play a critical role in supporting various HR functions, including recruitment support, onboarding, employee relations, HRIS (Paycom) management, and HR projects. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for supporting employees and driving HR initiatives.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, creating job postings, and descriptions.
• Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and job requirements.
• Coordinate new hire onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating the completion of
required forms.
• Educate and communicate company personnel policies and procedures to newly hired and current employees.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personnel files, Paycom data entry, and documentation.
• Process employee changes, such as promotions, transfers, terminations, and changes to employment status or benefits within Paycom.
• Support with employee open enrollment and benefits programs within Paycom.
• Support employee relations efforts by assisting with investigations, documenting employee complaints or concerns, and providing guidance on HR policies
and procedures.
• Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, training programs, wellness activities, and compliance efforts.
• Provide administrative support to the HR team, by maintaining HR-related program documents and files.
• Maintain company policies, procedures, demonstrating confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems - Paycom preferred.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred
• 3 years of experience as an HR coordinator/assistant preferred
• Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
• Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines
• Fantastic organizational and time management skills
• Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail
