Job Details: Certified CPD Technician
- Location : Philadelphia, PA
- Pay Rate $35 - $50 Per Hour
- Schedule : 3 to 6 months Full Time Contract Eligible for extension
Requirements: Certified CPD Technician
- Twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years rendering direct patient care in public or private institution. Clinical competencies must be current
- Valid Photo ID Driver’s License or Passport (Required)
- Possess current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association
- Certifications: Mandatory Certification (at least 1 of the following CER)
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
- Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
- Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
- Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA)
- Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)
- Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution
- Certified Endoscope Re processor (CER)
- HSPA

Duties/Responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to: Certified CPD Technician
- Completes nutrition assessments of patients within scope of practice of Dietetic Technician-Registered based on screening and documentation guidelines.
- Implements and monitors nutritional interventions assigned by the RDN to meet the nutritional needs of patients
- Estimates nutritional intakes of patients. Calculates and documents calorie counts as requested. Assists RDs with data collection as needed.
- Prepares, portions, delivers patient enteral feeding orders accurately and timely.
- Knowledgeable about human milk, formulas and additives used in infant, pediatric and adult patients.
