Location: Santa Monica, CA (Candidates must reside within 20 minutes of the studio)
Compensation: $20–$22 per hour, plus 10% commission on sales
Hours: 20–25 hours per week

Position Overview:
We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Community Engagement, Sales, and Marketing Coordinator to enhance our membership base, increase brand visibility, and strengthen relationships within the local fitness community. This role is ideal for someone who excels in sales, marketing, and community outreach, and is passionate about helping people discover the benefits of BFT’s programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Membership Growth:
- Make 50 calls per day to warm and cold leads, converting them into committed BFT members.
- Conduct in-person studio sales consultations and close membership sales using a solution-based approach.
- Follow up via phone, text, and email to nurture leads and improve conversion rates.
- Consistently meet and exceed membership sales goals by generating new leads and engaging with prospective members.
- Assist with onboarding and retention strategies in collaboration with the studio team.
- Track and report daily call volume, conversion rates, and closing percentages.
Member Engagement & Retention:
- Plan and execute weekly member appreciation initiatives to improve retention.
- Recognize and celebrate member milestones with social media features and in-studio rewards.
- Organize surprise giveaways such as BFT gear or free sessions to boost engagement.
- Implement and promote a "Member of the Month" program with exclusive perks.
Community Engagement & Lead Generation:
- Represent BFT at local events, fitness expos, and community gatherings to generate new leads.

B2B & Local Business Partnerships:
- Build and maintain relationships with local businesses, corporate offices, and fitness influencers to generate leads.
- Offer special membership discounts for employees of partner businesses.
- Coordinate cross-promotional campaigns with strategic business partners.
Event Marketing & Strategic Promotions:
- Host seasonal fitness events such as "Summer Strength Series" or "New Year Challenge" to attract new members.
- Organize charity workouts or donation-based classes to strengthen community connections.
- Develop and execute promotional events to increase trial memberships and referrals.
Social Media & Content Creation:
- Manage and create engaging social media content, featuring member success stories, events, and training highlights.

- Run referral-based contests and promotions to increase prospect interest and conversions.
Market Research & Strategy Development:
- Analyze marketing and sales campaign performance to optimize outreach efforts.

Qualifications:

- Sales Skills: Experience in high-volume lead generation, cold calling, and closing sales.
- Marketing & Outreach: Background in event planning, content creation, or digital marketing is a plus.
- Outgoing & Engaging: Comfortable with face-to-face interactions, public speaking, and networking.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written skills, with the ability to persuade and build relationships.
- Self-Motivated & Goal-Oriented: Driven, proactive, and able to work independently.
