Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated Front Desk / Sales Associate to join our team. This position is crucial in creating a welcoming environment for our members while driving sales and growth. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and excel at engaging with prospective members. This role involves making phone calls approximately 60% of the time to convert leads, follow up with trial members, and retain current members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Engagement: Proactively reach out to leads, follow up on inquiries, and schedule studio tours or trial classes.
- Member Retention: Build relationships with current members, handle their concerns, and ensure an exceptional studio experience.
- Sales: Meet and exceed sales goals by promoting memberships, trial packages, and studio merchandise.
- Administrative Duties: Manage the front desk, handle customer bookings, and assist with day-to-day studio operations.
- Community Building: Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all members and staff, contributing to the vibrant and fun culture we’re known for.
What We’re Looking For:
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills—must be comfortable making and receiving calls for the majority of your shift.
- Strong sales acumen with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
- Passion for fitness and a genuine desire to help others achieve their goals.
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy studio environment.
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or the fitness industry is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able and willing to move workout equipment, and perform minor maintenance.
- Must be willing to clean the studio, bathrooms, lobby, etc.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
