We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven General Manager to lead a boutique fitness studio in Montclair. This role is focused on sales, lead generation, community outreach, and business growth. The ideal candidate is a proven closer with experience in boutique fitness sales, has a strong background in grassroots marketing and B2B partnerships, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

ResponsibilitiesSales and Lead Generation
- Make 50 outbound calls per day to generate and convert leads into memberships.
- Conduct in-studio sales consultations and effectively close membership deals.
- Follow up with prospects via phone, text, and email to increase conversion rates.
- Achieve and exceed membership sales targets through persistence and relationship-building.
Community Outreach and Marketing
- Develop B2B partnerships with local businesses, corporate wellness programs, and community organizations to drive leads.
- Execute grassroots marketing efforts, including networking, event attendance, and promotional campaigns.
- Create and implement referral programs and special promotions to increase brand awareness and attract new members.
Studio Leadership and Growth
- Cultivate a strong and engaged fitness community.
- Collaborate with coaches and staff to ensure an exceptional member experience.
- Manage studio operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency in daily tasks.
- Track and analyze sales and marketing performance to refine strategies and drive results.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of boutique fitness sales experience at a studio such as Orangetheory, CycleBar, Row House, or a similar brand (big-box gyms such as 24 Hour Fitness or Planet Fitness do not qualify).
- Proven ability to consistently close sales and meet or exceed revenue goals.
- Strong background in lead generation, outbound sales, and grassroots marketing.
- Experience in B2B networking and partnership building.
- Passion for fitness and a results-driven approach to sales and business development.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Must live within 30 minutes of Montclair and have reliable transportation.
