Sales Manager in Training – Boutique Fitness
Location: Montclair, NJ
Pay: $15.49/hr 10% commission on sales - Uncapped
Hours: 30-40 hours per week (Saturdays required)
About the Role
We are looking for a Sales Manager in Training to join our team and play a vital role in driving membership sales, lead generation, and community engagement. This role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in boutique fitness sales who thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. You will be responsible for outreach, lead generation, and closing sales while developing the skills to grow into a leadership role.
Responsibilities
- Make 50 outbound calls per day to generate and convert leads into memberships.
- Execute grassroots marketing and community development efforts to drive brand awareness.
- Overcome objections and close sales effectively to meet and exceed revenue goals.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with members, prospects, and local businesses.
- Participate in local events, networking opportunities, and promotional campaigns to increase brand visibility.
- Provide an exceptional member experience by understanding individual fitness needs and aligning them with membership options.
- Assist with day-to-day studio operations as needed to support the team.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of sales success in a boutique fitness environment (e.g. Orangetheory, CycleBar, etc.).
- Excludes big box gym experience (e.g., 24 Hour Fitness, Planet Fitness).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to overcome objections and close deals.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and passionate about fitness and wellness.
- Experience in lead generation, outbound sales calls, and grassroots marketing.
- Ability to work 30-40 hours per week, including Saturdays.
