The Aesthetic Nurse is responsible for performing consultations and treatments in a safe and effective manner, as well as providing recommendations on follow-up treatments and appropriate products to purchase. Job Duties, Responsibilities, and Capabilities:
- In-person and telehealth patient consultations to accurately understand client/patient conditions and needs to recommend appropriate medical and aesthetic services and products.
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms for exams, treatments, and procedures.
- Educate, review and explain the treatment process to patients, as well as pre-and post-treatment care instructions.
- Observe, record and report patient vitals, conditions, reactions, and treatments to practice manager and/or physician.
- Administer injections using dermal fillers such as (but not limited to) Restylane, Juvederm, Voluma, Botox, Dysport, etc., and aesthetic treatments such as Body Contouring, Ultherapy, and Microneedling, etc.
- Administer injections for medical weight loss treatments and peptide therapy for qualifying patients.
- Administer IV therapy treatments.
- Respond or follow up to patient communications, triage-incoming calls, pre-certify patients for treatments.
- Oversee preparation of treatment rooms which includes restocking medical supplies, educational materials, and pharmaceutical supplies and samples.
- Maintain patient confidentiality, including HIPAA, and practice specific compliance guidelines.
- Attend and maintain training relevant to the role, including practice management software, CPR, OSHA, and CLIA.
- Participate in both in- and off-site marketing events.
- Perform other medical and office tasks as needed.
- Have the presence of mind to deal with emergency situations and compassion to address difficult patients.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
- Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities.
- Ability to analyze problems and consistently follow through with solutions.
- Ability to quickly learn the products and procedures available to our patients and proactively learn about products, techniques, or equipment.

Qualifications:
- Must hold appropriate active nursing license in the State of Texas.
- Must adhere to local and state licensing laws and regulations.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Aesthetics Nurse in a physician’s office or Med Spa.
- A Minimum of 2 years of aesthetic injection experience is required with good knowledge of various aesthetic services and skincare.
- Must be comfortable and at ease working in a fast-paced environment and have a track record of excellent customer service, problem-solving and organizational skills, and understanding of group process and teamwork.
- Friendly and effective in communicating with patients, other staff members, and physicians.
