The Team Leader, Active Ingredient will perform support/process duties associated with the continuous manufacture of Boehringer Ingelheim vaccines. This role will perform and coordinate with other groups and supervise the activities associated with the preparation of active ingredient vaccine, and component (cells and medias) requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepares the daily/weekly production schedule
- Oversees and ensures training and qualification of team members
- Reviews in process documentation for accuracy and compliance in a timely manner; maintains technical data and support documentation
- Initiates and facilitates root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions to address problems; escalates production flow disturbances
- Demonstrates a visible and tangible commitment to EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) programs and initiatives
- Assesses individual and team performance regarding continuous improvement
- Participates and provides support to site projects and initiatives
- High School Diploma or equivalent plus minimum two to three (2-3) years in related field required
- Biology Degree, or related Science Degree or related field plus three to four (3-4) years’ experience in related field preferred
- Basic math skills, equipment/automation trouble shooting skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and other database software systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction
- Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
