JOB SUMMARY |
Develops, delivers, and analyzes supplier proposals while working with senior leadership. Owns risk assessments of assigned suppliers. Develops and maintains management level supplier relationships.

- Creates RFP(Request for Proposal) documents and prepares them for supplier bids.
- Aids in supplier selection and negotiation.
- Performs site assessments during bid process.
- Responsible for subset of suppliers.
- Travels to such suppliers and maintains corporate relationship.
- Analyzes and reports on supplier risk and leads actions associated with such risk.
- Supports needed RRA activities in association with Supplier quality and local sites.
- Helps to maintain view of supplier exposure to ensure that leadership is aware of upcoming price risk.
- Helps to drive improved supplier visibility and provides supplier forecasts both internally and externally
- Works with assigned suppliers to understand supplier’s capabilities, capacity and potential risk
- Works with senior leadership to develop suppliers to attain increased capacity, capability, and risk mitigation
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS – Education, Knowledge, and Experience |
Education:
- A four-year college degree (Bachelor’s degree) is required.
- Degree requirement may be supplemented with 15 years of experience in supply chain role.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of direct experience in Supply Chain, with complex and high volume of suppliers, required.
- Manufacturing and aerospace industry experience preferred.
Skills:
- Excellent in data analysis, excel, PowerPoint.
- Excellent and articulate communicator.
