POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position will support the Supply Chain Management department and be responsible for managing all aspects of outbound shipments based upon contractual agreements. This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain Management or another senior manager that the President of the Company may designate. This position will be onsite in Irvine, CA.
Responsibilities
Ensure that goods are shipped in a timely and efficient manner according to documented processes, which includes planning the transportation routes, selecting the mode of transportation, tracking shipments from pick-up through delivery all while targeting overall cost reduction. Understanding and general shipping procedures and documentation. Delivery Order Allocation and Creation based upon contractual fixed lane rates. Daily communication with Sales Operations

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position will support the Supply Chain Management department and be responsible for managing all aspects of outbound shipments based upon contractual agreements. Responsibilities
- Provide Optimal loading for a trailer based on pallet weight and dimensions compared to shipping parameters and guidelines
- Provide effective shipping/delivery plan that meets customer requirements at an economical price
- Ongoing tracking and monitoring of all outbound shipments, ensuring oversight of daily operations.
- Verify invoices from forwarders related to delivery orders.
- Conduct physical inventory and reconciliation audits on site on a regular basis.
- Monitor and communicate effectively and efficiently with interactions between the warehouses, carriers/third party logistics company and customers with the highest levels of customer service.
- Adhere to existing logistics processes and apply both industry and organizational best practices.
- Other duties and special projects, as assigned.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management
- Associate’s degree (AA) 6 years of experience or bachelor’s degree 4 years of experience in a related field
- Possession of a valid passport and ability to travel overseas without difficulty
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Critical and strategic thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple and simultaneous projects, issues, and activities
- Strong interpersonal, implementation and facilitation skills
- Strong, self-motivated team player
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
