Position Summary
The Master Data Specialist is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of master data in SAP. They own the integrity of item master and vendor master. They manage requested additions, deletions and changes to the data to support end users. This includes auditing and cleansing data, data enrichments, validation of data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Associates working a minimum of 30 hours per week are eligible to enroll in our benefit programs. Coverage begins the first of the month following hire date for those that enroll in:

Position Summary
The Master Data Specialist is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of master data in SAP. They own the integrity of item master and vendor master. They manage requested additions, deletions and changes to the data to support end users. This includes auditing and cleansing data, data enrichments, validation of data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Validates, creates and maintains materials and vendor records within the SAP Materials Management module.
- Provides direction or assistance to internal customers regarding data requirements.
- Reviews and identifies material and vendor data for non-compliance.
- Participates in continuous improvement projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Basic knowledge of data governance requirements.
- Ability to professionally represent the company data policies and procedures.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) with internal and external customers.
- Strong in organizational skills such as prioritization and attention to details.
- Ability to accurately enter data into SAP.
- Proficiency with PC software, Microsoft Excel, and SAP (a plus).
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to escalate issues when needed.
- Experience in SAP is a plus
- 1-5 years of professional experience
- Associates Degree preferred
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting at a desk in a computer chair
- Work is all on a computer viewing data on computer monitors and/or a laptop screen for 8 hours a day or more depending on workload.
