Position Overview
We are looking for a Security Operations Center (SOC) Manager to oversee Netflix's SOC in Los Angeles.
The SOC Manager will oversee the operational and strategic development of Netflix's SOC. The Manager will lead the day-to-day activities of all LA Operators and Supervisors and will assure that the positions are staffed with qualified personnel and that operations are conducted in line with established policy and procedure.

Essential Job Functions
- Oversee the quality of work performed by the team, conducting regular audits and providing feedback to enhance performance.
- Work with Netflix's security leadership on the development and / or revision of SOC processes, protocols, and systems.
- Develop and conduct custom trainings for the team for all SOC functions.
- Maintain seamless operations by effectively managing the teams' schedules, which includes, but is not limited to : ensuring all shifts have adequate coverage and providing back-up, support, and on-call function as-needed.
- Create concise, factual reports for distribution to Netflix representatives, company management, and external stakeholders.
- Receive shift pass down information and conduct shift briefings to provide updates, assignments, training, and policy compliance.
- Maintain situational awareness of natural and man-made events that may compromise the safety and security of personnel, business operations, and infrastructure for Netflix locations in the assigned region(s).
- Oversee quality control and oversight for all production, support, and staffing functions in conjunction with Netflix security leadership.
- Represent the SOC in meetings with Netflix personnel.
- Provide detailed reports to senior management with insights, metrics, and recommendations.
- Oversee and provide timely updates for all SOC investigations.
