Bogart Constructions Lead Estimator is responsible for generating and managing estimates for bidding efforts while providing leadership, training, and mentoring estimators under the Estimating Manager.
Responsibilities / Duties :
- Assist the Estimating Manager in reviewing plans and specifications
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs for all scopes for all trades (div.2-div.16)
- Generate and prepares GMP, scopes, estimates, and budgets.
- Develop subcontractor relationships.
- Effective in preliminary estimate pricing, building systems, constructability, etc.
- Bid day support : qualifying subcontractor bids and reviewing overall bid with Estimating Manager
- Ability to read and understand all plans and specs.
- Mentor and develop Estimators.
- Visits project sites for evaluation of construction means and methods.
