Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, and responding to discovery requests
- Preparing and responding to motions and legal memoranda
- Conducting and defending depositions
- Making court appearances
- Engaging with clients, attorneys, and witnesses
- Performing thorough legal research
- Conducting medical analysis and review
- Writing detailed case analyses and client reports
- Attending trials as second chair
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in civil litigation
- Admission to the Missouri Bar
- Admission to the Illinois Bar (preferred but not required)
- Strong ability to write and present well-reasoned legal arguments
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership in task execution
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize a complex caseload
- Effective team player with a strong work ethic
