Project Manger / Estimator
We are looking for an experienced Project Manger and/or Estimator to join our already successful and established Construction Team.
Job Summary: The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for managing and leading multiple construction projects from start to finish. Projects range from heavy maintenance, renovations, additions, and new construction.
Responsibilities:
§ Maintain a positive company image with clients,potential clients, vendors, subcontractors, and the community
§ Effectively and efficiently communicate with clients
§ Provide estimates on time and in a professional and competitive manner
§ Ensure estimates are accurate, and consider risk factors and construction methods
§ Review subcontractor bids for completeness
§ Set up projects through internal accounting procedures
§ Develop and maintain project schedules
§ Create and maintain project cost reports ensuring that project stays within budget
§ Effectively track changes to the project and negotiate change orders with Owners, subcontractors and vendors
§ Provide complete project documentation and maintenance of records
§ Coordinate project subcontractors
§ Constant communication with site superintendents and field personnel to ensure successful project completion
§ Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
§ 5 years of Construction Project Management experience, preferably in Commercial Construction
§ Supervisory / Leadership Skills
§ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite,Foundation, and Procore, or the ability to be trained
§ Organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate via phone and email effectively
§ Strong attention to detail
§ Must be able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
