Description
The Summer Food & Beverage Busser position helps create an excellent experience for guests by maintaining a clean and safe environment in the Bogus Basin lodge areas during the summer operational season.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Clean tables, floors, surrounding areas, and restrooms.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean, organized dining area for our guests.
- Maintain proper stock levels of cups, condiments, napkins, and plastic wares.
- Maintain a professional attitude toward guests and staff.
- Promote safety by following safe practices and reporting any unsafe conditions or situations.
- Assist guests with any questions or problems that they may have; if unable to provide assistance, seek help from a supervisor and/or manager.
Non-Essential Functions of the Job
- Perform other related tasks, as necessary.
Requirements
- Passionate about the Bogus Basin mission.
- Ability to perform tasks in a timely and accurate manner, with or without supervision.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Employee is frequently required to stand, balance, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
- Employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
- The employee must occasionally lift, move, and/or support up to 35 lbs.
- Manual dexterity to perform basic foodservice functions such as stocking and cleaning.
- Ability to work mid-May through mid-October.
Working Conditions
- Restaurant environment, both indoors and outdoors.
- May be exposed to inclement weather.
