What are the responsibilities and job description for the BOH-Purchasing Agent/Receiving Clerk position at Boh Bros Construction?
Job Summary: Provide support for truck shop/equipment division through the purchasing of parts, stock items, and inventory.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Contact vendors and seek quotes (3) as needed to purchase parts for repairs, stock & inventory,
- Create and process Purchase Orders and Change Orders relating to the various charges: jobs, equipment, inventory, and work orders,
- Get contact names from vendors and track the estimated time of arrival on orders placed,
- Match invoices and delivery tickets with delivered materials,
- Maintain and order items for inventory, consumables and stock for Truck Shop,
- Mark part orders with proper equipment/job numbers as needed,
- Submit invoices to A/P for processing in a timely manner,
- Approve and submit invoices/PO's in CMIC in a timely manner,
- Process fuel transfers from inventory location to fuel trucks,
- Process fuel charges to jobs,
- Balance fuel transfers and fuel charges.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
Proficient communication skills including verbal and written, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple ongoing tasks
Ability to use software including CMIC, Outlook, Excel and internet search programs.
Ability to research online for various equipment manufacturers and suppliers.
Ability to commit to the Company's values.
Ability to be a team member.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the worker is regularly required to speak and hear, communicate with vendors, and co-workers. The worker is frequently required to stand, sit, and walk. The worker is required to be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs.
