Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes. You will support business needs and ensure the proper implementation of company strategy and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations, performance management, and organizational design, with proficiency in HR software such as ADP.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan.
- Manage the recruitment process, including negotiating offers.
- Oversee performance management processes to ensure employee evaluations are conducted effectively.
- Foster a positive working environment through effective employee relations practices.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, including FMLA and all leaves.
- Administer and process all benefits, including 401K.
- Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and management.
- Analyze HR metrics to drive improvements in workforce planning and development.
- Process payroll from start to finish
- Oversee PTO
- Update the handbook, job descriptions, and other policies and procedures
- Assist with companywide events
- Workers Compensation
- Unemployment
- Ensure employee files are up to date
- Oversee all terminations
Experience
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of HR software systems such as ADP.
- Experience with performance management systems and employee evaluation processes.
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations related to FMLA and employee rights.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to handle sensitive employee relations issues.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with all levels of staff.
