VISION: Opening due to promotion. Looking for talent with upside. Operating division has multi-plants in the Americas, Europe and Far East. In North America, revenues are in the $450M range. Growth has been attributed to the development of patented products, market channel growth, acquisitions, and geographical expansion. Parent company is USA-based, NYSE-listed worldwide manufacturer of engineered products sold to multiple channels. Finance is viewed as the #1 business partner with General Manager.
OPPORTUNITY: Empowering culture. Looking for a proactive and value-adding personality with strong business acumen and financial underpinning who can influence SBU GMs and mentor financial talent. Be a business partner to Group GM on financial and operating results, KPIs, budgets, strategic plans, forecasts, capital expenditures, margins, and business development.
Be a business partner to domestic and international leadership (e.g., engineering, sales, manufacturing, supply chain, R&D) on everything from new business development and vendor contracts to cost reductions, business planning and margin variance analysis. Lead all North American accounting and consolidation of global operations (e.g., monthly reporting, KPIs, budget).
Lead and mentor to ensure financial integrity and performance. Contribute on due diligence and integration of acquisitions. Contribute on business strategy (e.g., tariffs, pricing, acquisitions). Partner on validation of product costs and margin targets. Focus on critical financial and operations performance metrics and make presentations to executive team.
Lead projects that will improve business efficiencies, processes and profits. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records, financial systems and SOX compliance. Oversee, review and analyze annual budgets and strategic plans as well as monthly forecasts. Be actively involved in business operations including key vendor and customer contracts, process improvements, product development, capital expenditures, supply chain, inventory management, and business compliance.
REQUIREMENTS: BS required; MBA ideal; CPA a plus. Seek 10 years of business experience with last 3 years in a financial leadership role of a multi-plant manufacturer with international operations that targets OEM customers (e.g., alternative energy, aerospace, automotive, building products, capital equipment, motion control, medical equipment, robotics, sensors). Must be willing to travel 25 to 30%.
REWARD: $210,000 to $230,000 DOE plus bonus, options (valued over $100,000), excellent benefits, and relocation. Upside opportunities in finance or general management.
