We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager based in the Northern Virginia area to oversee and lead U.S. government programs. This role focuses on delivering advanced solutions for synthetic training, mission planning and rehearsal, and collective training. The ideal candidate will have deep experience managing U.S. government programs, possess or be eligible for a U.S. security clearance, and have a strong understanding of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) acquisition processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of U.S. government programs related to simulation, synthetic training, mission rehearsal, and collective training.
- Customer Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for U.S. government stakeholders in the Northern Virginia/Orlando FL area and other parts of the US and globally where our US customers operate, ensuring program objectives are met and strong relationships are maintained.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with internal engineering, product management, and business development teams to meet program deliverables.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all program activities adhere to U.S. government regulations, security protocols, and contractual obligations.
- Risk Management: Monitor and mitigate program risks while managing program budgets and schedules.
- Strategic Contribution: Identify opportunities for innovation and integration of emerging technologies into synthetic training and mission planning solutions.
- Reporting: Provide comprehensive updates to senior leadership and government stakeholders regarding program status, milestones, and challenges.
Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of DoD acquisition processes and program management best practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Familiarity with simulation technologies, virtual environments, or game-based training systems is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Program Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Military experience or a strong understanding of military training and operational requirements.
- Experience managing subcontractors and vendor relationships.
Education ad Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of program management experience, with a focus on U.S. government or defense programs.
- Expertise in synthetic training, mission planning, and collective training solutions.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, multi-million-dollar government programs.
Additional Qualifications:
- Security Clearance: Active or eligible for U.S. security clearance (Secret or higher).
- Location Requirement: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to the Northern Virginia area.
