Overview
This role is responsible for handling FTW branch rental inquiries, assisting with scheduling customer Preventative Maintenance (PM) and batching service labor. This position requires strong sales skills, and the ability to provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and experienced in the equipment industry.
Duties
Rental Equipment:
o Promote rental equipment to new and existing customers.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their equipment needs and offering appropriate solutions.
o Provide product quotations and technical information to assist customers in making informed decisions.
o Coordinate with the service department to ensure that all rental and used equipment is well-maintained and ready for sale or rental.
Service Department Administrative Responsibilities:
o Scheduling Customer PM’s and opening work orders for the scheduled work orders
o Assist in batching labor for field employees
o Support Equipment administrative tasks including but not limited to answering phones, and handling correspondence.
Customer Relations:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support.
o Address and resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional manner.
· Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards in all operations.
Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate Supervisor and/or Manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.
Qualifications
- · Associate's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment rental, sales, or a related industry.
· Strong knowledge of equipment, including technical specifications and operational requirements.
· Strong understanding of parts inventory management, including best practices for stock control and ordering.
· Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing inventory.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
