Our Melville, NY office is looking for a Permitting Intern who embodies this purpose.
What You'll Do :
- Assist project team with the necessary preparation / delivery / pickup / deadlines of various permit submittal packages
- Assist permitting project team monitor status of various applications through the various stages of the approval process
- Prepare and assist with necessary applications, fees, and signatures required for submittal
- Research, understand, and update filing requirements for jurisdictions identified while maintaining data base of critical jurisdictional decision makers
- Communicate and coordinate with various internal and external project team members, including permitting and design teams
- Communicate plan examiner comments in a timely manner as needed
- Schedule appointments, inspections, and other applicable meetings
- Develop and edit business documents from information provided
- Maintain organized filing / document management process for electronic and paper documents
- Other duties as assigned

18.40 - $27.51. Total compensation will be determined by other considerations such as experience, qualifications and educational background.
