Boise Cascade is seeking a Region Human Resources Manager to join the Wood Products Manufacturing Human Resources team. This role will be primarily based out of the Eastern Region providing support to South Carolina, Alabama and Florida facilities. Salary will be based on experience. Come grow with us!
This position will partner and work collaboratively with functional leaders across the Wood Products Manufacturing division and oversee HR practices, processes, and strategies for the manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the recruiting process to include internal/external job postings, candidate sourcing, selection, interviewing, and employment offers.
- Advise and develop recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with leaders to integrate diverse, equitable and inclusive practices into business process/workplaces.
- Plan and implement training programs.
- Partner with leaders on performance management, compensation, and succession planning.
- Conduct workplace investigations.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Prepare and monitor Affirmative Action Plans.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance through periodic audit partnerships.
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves, compensation, and benefits.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or other relevant discipline, or equivalent work experience in related job function.
- 5 years of progressive human resources experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
