Leveraging advanced analytical approaches, the Manager of Business Insights & Analytics works with the Director of Business Insights to set and execute strategic learning goals for the system. The Manager will leverage and mine several different data sources using a variety of analytic techniques to uncover key insights that point to opportunities for Bojangles to grow sales and market share profitably. The Manager will partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to leverage and activate upon key learnings / opportunities that have been identified, and to create tools and reporting for ongoing performance tracking. Key areas of focus include Promotion Analysis, Marketing / Advertising effectiveness, Digital Sales Performance & KPI’s, Menu Pricing & Profitability, Forecasting, and Operations Outlier identification.
Job Duties
- Lead, define and execute advanced analytics to inform key opportunities in alignment with Organization goals and business needs. Examples include Promotional Effectiveness, Market & Menu Tests, Digital Sales Performance & drivers, as well as Pricing Analytics.
- Partner with Marketing and Operations teams to identify key growth strategies, and lead plans for analysis and tools that inform and drive decision making. Examples include Market Level deep-dives, uncovering drivers of outlier performance, New Store Tracking, etc.
- Guide & collaborate with external research vendors to leverage external 3rd party data to drive decision making. Examples Include Market Share and Customer/Segment Analytics, Competitive Price analysis, and sales performance benchmarking.
- Collaborate with other business analytics team members needs on providing data / analysis to support key company presentations such as weekly sales updates, franchisee calls, and board meetings.
- Leverage experience with data analytics software / languages (SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) to help enhance data / reporting automaton routines
