Assistant Project Manager: Support the Project Managers in completing office-based tasks to support setup, execution, and close out of projects.
Essential Duties:
- Order and release equipment with Trane and other suppliers.
- Help Project Managers track and organize incoming material
-Assist in scheduling appointments for Solutions Technicians.
- Generate purchase orders
- Process closeout packages and warranty letters, and distribute to client, service department, marketing and accounting.
- Coordinate the timely submission of operation and maintenance manuals and other client transmittals.
- Understand the project pricing model and billing procedures.
- Assist Project Managers with timely and accurate billing and updates in the company financial system.
- Review project documents to ensure they are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Review deliverables prepared by Team before transmitting to the Client.
- Effectively communicate relevant project information to superiors.
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Schedule warranty service turnover meeting.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
- Proficient with the MS Office Suite, MS Project is a plus
- Self-sufficient, problem solver, takes initiative, fast learner, resourceful
- Pro-active, team player, independent leader, able to work well with others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to grow and take on additional responsibilities
- Preferred knowledge of HVAC systems
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Mobility within the office & job sites
- Willing to travel locally as required
- Occasional visits to job sites
- Ability to lift 25 pounds on an occasional basis

Salary : $48,800 - $61,800
