Client Service & Sales Representative (Gaithersburg, MD): Responsible for attaining sales revenue targets as assigned, processing client orders and responding to client inquiries, and/or questions regarding Boland Supply. Responsible for stocking and general appearance of the showroom.
Essential Duties:
- Will be trained on all store processes; sales, shipping and receiving, order staging, purchasing, warranty, basic HVAC
- Answer client calls, identifies parts and provides support to clients in a prompt and professional manner
- Identifies and processes client orders for HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies via the internet, fax, phone and over the counter
- Order required parts
- Responds to client's inquiries or questions regarding products
- Drives sales by actively making clients aware of product promotions
- Responsible for warranty administration
- Prepares for and participates in physical inventory as scheduled
- Possesses knowledge of the product lines to be able to demonstrate and discuss with clients
- Handles emergency phone and client service duties after hours as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent experience and education required
- Able to operate a forklift
- Technical sales or related experience is a plus
- Knowledge of refrigeration cycle / HVAC is a plus
- Experience with HVAC or related business preferred
- High energy, problem solver, client focused, detail oriented, quick learner, motivated, organized
- Able to multi-task, excellent interpersonal skills, sales driven, strong communication and writing skills
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to use hands to operate computer keyboard, phone, reach with hands and arms
- Frequently required to stand, walk, and sit
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Must regularly lift and/ or move up to 25lbs, frequently lift and/ or move up to 50lbs, and occasionally lift and/ or move more than 100lbs with a device
