Reports to: Floral Manager, Floral Warehouse Manager
Schedule: Flexible availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays based on event schedules.
Accountabilities:
- Follow directions from the Floral Manager, Senior Floral Lead, or Warehouse Supervisor to complete daily tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floral workspace for optimal efficiency.
- Clean and prepare floral vessels to ensure they are sanitized and ready for arrangements.
- Process incoming floral shipments, conditioning flowers for freshness and longevity.
- Pack and unpack floral carts before and after events, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Handle flowers with precision, including trimming and conditioning for production.
- Retrieve and organize floral and décor items based on RFPs from Event Coordinators and Sales Designers.
- Assist with event execution and provide on-site support as needed.
- Stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working at heights up to 25’ and operating a sprinter van or 16’ box truck.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Preferably 1 years of experience in floral support, warehouse, or event production settings.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic and adaptability to changing priorities.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Frequent lifting, carrying, and moving of floral materials and arrangements (up to 40 lbs).
- Handling, trimming, and conditioning flowers with precision and attention to detail.
- Weekend, evening, and holiday availability based on event schedules.
- Must be comfortable with heights and working on ladders; up to 25’.
- Able to drive a sprinter van and 16’ box truck.
