On-site workdays will be managed at the team level to maintain an environment focused on work-life balance, innovation velocity, and the delivery of exceptional customer experiences.In this role, you will be expected to work 20% of working days per month (4 days per month on average) in the office. This is a minimum expectation. All employees are welcome to work in the office as much as they like. Applicants must be local (within 35 miles) to Dublin, Ohio.YOUR ROLEWe are looking for a UI / UX Designer who will be responsible for the user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design of our various digital assets. You'll be responsible for delivering an outstanding user experience while providing exceptional and intuitive application design. You'll combine user experience thinking with design execution, to produce usable and intuitive user interfaces.WHAT YOU'LL DOBuild amazingly powerful and intuitive user experiences for commercial insurance agents and small business ownersParticipate in agile ceremonies such as iteration planning, retrospective, and daily standupsProactively research possible issues affecting the availability of our platformCollaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and customers to gather and evaluate user requirements and build impactful featuresBuild internal component libraries that will be used across products to ensure an uncommonly great user experienceIdentify and troubleshoot UX problemsCreate and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mockupsOptimize existing user interface designs and conduct usability testing.SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 5 years of professional experienceExperience with Wordpress, HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptProficiency in using Git version controlPrevious working experience in high-growth technology companies and / or startupsUnderstanding of interaction design principles.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to sit / stand / walk for prolonged periods of time, (up to 8 hours per day) at a desk working on a computer.Must be able to use standard office equipment for extended periods of time, including but not limited to, a mouse, keyboard, phone and video conferencing.Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift and carry up to 50 pounds.Must be able to access and navigate the corporate office.BENEFITSWe offer competitive compensation and progressive benefits that include : Medical, Dental, and VisionFlexible PTO Policy401(k) with a company matchEmployee Assistance ProgramParental LeaveDisability and Life BenefitsStay connected to the Glacier.
