Job Summary
The Quality Control Administrator will assist in conducting quality checks on job ticket information, variable data, and specifications to guarantee the accuracy of mailing materials. It is imperative to ensure that all materials and information are clear and accurate once proof approval is obtained, and a new job ticket is printed if necessary. Collaboration with all internal departments is essential. Effective communication and collaboration with Customer Service Representatives, Managers, Supervisors, Team Leads, and Sales personnel are crucial to ensure the smooth flow of variable production work. Additionally, the QC Admin will provide support to the BD-CST team with data entry tasks as required.
Key Responsibilities
· Review variable and inkjet proofs against original data, specifications, and information on job tickets (stock and schedule details). This process is crucial in ensuring accuracy and quality in our production.
· Identify any issues on the production floor that may impact Bolger Direct or our customers from a quality and efficiency standpoint. Collaborate with necessary personnel to address and resolve any issues promptly.
· Maintain open communication with CSR's, BD management, supervisors, and leads. Sharing information and involving the appropriate team members is essential to meeting customer expectations.
· Must be able to de-escalate tense situations to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes when necessary.
· Ensure all necessary department materials are available before releasing job tickets to departments to guarantee successful completion. This includes coordinating purchase orders for paper, envelopes, and other materials.
· Utilize Avanti system tools effectively and seek additional training as needed to enhance productivity.
· Adhere to production scheduled priorities to support Bolger Direct in achieving maximum on-time delivery.
· Provide assistance in assigning tasks and responsibilities efficiently to meet the expected levels of service for Bolger's customers. Your support is vital in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational success.
· Maintain open communication with the Fulfillment/QC Manager regarding any issues requiring attention or action.
Qualifications
· Applicants must have a high school diploma. Ideally, candidates will have 1-2 years of experience in quality control, print, and/or mailing.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills are required, along with analytical and decision-making abilities.
· Able to handle multiple projects/tasks at any given time and be able to prioritize as needed.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, is essential.
· The ideal candidate should be able to work independently with minimal supervision and possess excellent organizational skills.
· Patience, tact, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm are important qualities to demonstrate in all situations.
· Reinforce and uphold all safety rules and guidelines to create a secure work environment.
Working Conditions
· Your primary work location will be in the office; however, there will be daily mail checks that necessitate walking onto the manufacturing floor.
· You may have to go up and down stairs several times a day at times.
· Noise can be high on the manufacturing floor.
