We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operational & Marketing Manager to lead and oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of real estate auctions and the marketing efforts for the Real Estate and Auction Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the auction process, including marketing strategy to bidder engagement and post-auction transactions. Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, marketing knowledge, and content creation are essential for this role. The Operational & Marketing Manager will work closely with sellers, buyers, and the auction team to ensure a seamless and successful auction experience.
Responsibilities include:
· Operate auction software to facilitate online auctions and oversee live bidding platforms
· Oversee auction event logistics, bidding processes, and ensure regulatory compliance.
· Collaborate with agents and auctioneers to gather all relevant information.
· Set up and manage auction listings on BolingerRealEstate.com.
· Organize and coordinate auction events- including the supervision of the staff, vendors and overseeing the setup and teardown of auction locations.
· Manage and adhere to established auction budgets.
· Design auction flyers and ads, ensuring timely submission to meet advertising deadlines.
· Promote auctions through online platforms and printed media.
· Lead marketing initiatives to engage potential buyers and increase interest.
· Manage the auction catalog, including detailed item descriptions and valuations.
· Handle customer inquiries about auctions and real estate listings and provide excellent customer service
· Analyze Auction results and prepare auction reports
· Manage the social media pages such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube & assist with creating and uploading content that aligns with our brand and business
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
· No minimum experience required; however, previous experience in auction management or a related field is a plus.
· Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office- Word & Excel, Outlook, Basic Computer Skills, and Canva.
· Proficiency in managing social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and others.
· Skilled in creating engaging content, such as videos, graphics, and posts, to drive audience interaction.
· Knowledgeable about current marketing strategies, trends, and best practices in digital and social media marketing.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to auctions and real estate.
