Job Title: Outside Machinist Working Leaderman
Location: Lockport, LA
Position Overview: The Outside Machinist Working Leaderman is responsible for directing his/her workforce in the installing machinery components of assigned vessels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directing his/her workforce in the successful installation of machinery components on assigned vessels.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with other supervisors.
- Must have a strong focus on quality, production, safety, and environmental aspects of work being performed.
Experience:
- Minimum of five (5) years of craft-specific experience performing installing machinery.
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to interpret standard construction drawings.
- Basic knowledge of Outside Machinist specific processes and techniques.
- Familiar with standard marine practices and general specifications for construction.
