1st Class CuNi Pipe Fitter

Location: Lockport, LA

Position Overview: A Pipe Fitter performs layout, fabrication, installation, testing, and repair of pipe systems.

Experience:

Must have a minimum of 6 months of CuNi (Copper Nickel) pipe fitting experience; and able to successfully demonstrate the ability to pass a hands-on pipe fitter test by performing the following:

Skills and Abilities:

Fitting a CuNi pipe using a cutting grinder (Metabo) to make a square cut, applying a bevel using a grinder with a sanding disc, cutting the opposing end of the pipe to saddle a pipe of the same size at a 90 degree angle in addition to performing silver brazing of a socket joint pipe in the horizontal (flat and horizontal flow) and vertical (vertical up flow) position in accordance of ASME requirements.
