Qualifications
- One (1) to two (2) years of experience in a similar position preferred.
- Maintains Quality binders and maintains a log of all documents contained in the Quality binders.
- Maintains shipboard testing binders.
- Interacts with Quality management in creating and maintaining controlled documents.
- Understands and is able to create hyperlinks and print from other hyperlinks.
- Understands different types of testing equipment and maintains testing equipment sign-out logs,
- Interacts with Calibration Coordinator and sends equipment for calibration, as needed.
- Reads and routes incoming and outgoing mail.
- Composes and types routine correspondence.
- Prepares and maintains time cards for managers and crews.
- Organizes and maintains file system, files correspondence and other records.
- Greets scheduled visitors and directs to appropriate area or person.
- Conducts research, compiles and types statistical and other informational reports.
- Coordinates and arranges meetings, prepares agendas, reserves and prepares facilities and records and transcribes minutes of meetings.
- Makes copies and distributes correspondence or other printed materials.
- Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes.
- Orders and maintains supplies and arranges for equipment maintenance.
- Enters and retrieves information within the Company’s computerized accounting system, prints work orders and generates material requisitions.
- Delivers mail, purchases supplies and runs errands, as required.
- Basic typing skills and knowledge of computers and standard software (i.e., Microsoft Word and Excel).
- Can operate a variety of office equipment.
- Able to answer phones in a professional manner.
- Experience in filing and record keeping.
- Good communication skills, including written and oral communication.
