Bollinger is seeking a Marine Estimator with a minimum of seven (7) years of estimating or related shipbuilding experience. The role involves completing detailed cost estimates, gathering, and analyzing technical, cost, and schedule data from various stakeholders in the supply chain, interpreting drawings, specifications, and other relevant documentation, and collaborating closely with engineering, planning, program management, and operations support teams during proposal development.
Key Responsibilities :
- Interpret drawings, specifications, and relevant Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation to support detailed estimate and proposal development.
- Complete estimates and proposal documents accurately and on time.
- Gather and analyze technical, cost, and schedule data from various stakeholders in the supply chain.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, program management, and operations support teams during proposal development.
- Utilize different estimating methodologies and apply knowledge of the US Navy Ship Work Breakdown Structure (SWBS).
- Meet deadlines under schedule pressure and work effectively within a team environment.
