Project Manager - Shipbuilding Operations

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Subcontract Manager to oversee subcontractor performance, ensure schedule compliance, and maintain deliverables in accordance with contractual obligations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with extensive experience in shipbuilding or manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct and integrate subcontract efforts into overall construction plans.
• Develop and maintain detailed construction plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Interpret and ensure compliance with construction drawings and specifications.
• Oversee the availability of materials and labor resources to meet project demands.
• Conduct labor estimates and manage manpower schedules effectively.
• Coordinate subcontract activities with ship management to maintain quality standards.
• Manage subcontract activities related to production, including schedule coordination, subcontract progress tracking, change order management, and integration with construction processes.
• Act as the primary point of contact for production involvement and communication.
• Coordinate and schedule all project aspects among disciplines such as engineering, procurement, production, and supply chain.
• Develop mitigation solutions to ensure construction efforts remain aligned with the project plan.
• Address daily personnel, equipment, and facility issues while implementing remedial actions.
