The Role
We are seeking a Formulation / Analytical Chemist to join our innovative R&D team, focused on developing personal care products. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on expertise in formulation, analytical testing, and lab operations, contributing to creating cutting-edge products for skin, hair, and color cosmetics. Success in this role will require a candidate who is willing to learn new skills, is capable of cross-functional collaboration with other departments, and can work in a fast-paced, fluid environment. This is a full-time, on-site position in Hayward, CA.
Key Responsibilities :
Formulation Development
- Develop and produce formulation batches ranging from 50 to 500 g.
- Focus on personal care formulations, including skin, hair, and color cosmetics.
- Conduct qualitative assessments and ensure product appeal.
- Execute work within a GLP-compliant environment (bonus).
