Press Brake Operator Position Overview:

Bolton Cladding, a leader in the metal fabrication industry, is seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our team in Wayne, NJ. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating power press machines to bend, form, stretch, and straighten metal plates and sheet metal according to blueprints and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines, adjusting settings and measurement's as needed to produce high-quality results.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine machine setup, production requirements, and sequencing of operations.
• Inspect workpieces for defects and measure dimensions to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Maintain machines and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of experience operating press brake machines.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Familiarity with metal fabrication processes and materials.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
