Position Overview:
The Lead Pool Plumbing Specialist is a vital member of our construction team, responsible for installing and maintaining pool plumbing systems. This is a hands-on, in-the-field position that requires precision, problem-solving and knowledge of both new builds and repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install plumbing systems for new pool construction
- Read and interpret construction blueprints, site plans and plumbing schematics
- Pressure test systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing issues in new and existing systems
- Maintain clean, safe and organized work areas
- Coordinate with other trades and team members to ensure job site efficiency
- Ensure all work complies with local codes and industry best practices
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in pool plumbing (residential or commercial)
- Strong understanding of hydraulic principles and plumbing systems unique to pools and spas
- Familiarity with equipment such as Jandy, Pentair, Hayward, or similar systems
- Ability to cut, glue, and layout PVC plumbing with precision and clean presentation
- Experience with pressure testing and leak diagnosis
- Valid Hawaii driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work outdoors, and manage tasks with minimal supervision
- High attention to detail and safety awareness
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
