Key Responsibilities

• Develop precise 3D plumbing designs using the Autodesk Fabrication Suite, Revit, and other advanced software to convey design intent for active and upcoming commercial projects.
• Interpret construction documents, cut sheets, and drawings to support project managers and field superintendents, ensuring clarity in design execution.
• Conduct regular site visits to coordinate designs and ensure alignment with field installations.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and installation teams to create detailed, technically sound layouts and coordination plans.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of national, state, and city plumbing and building codes, including ASPE standards, ensuring designs meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 8 years of hands-on installation experience with medium to large commercial plumbing systems.
• 4 years of plumbing detailing experience, with proven expertise in complex commercial projects.
• Proficient in Revit, Autodesk Fabrication Suite, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and other industry-standard detailing software.
• Comprehensive understanding of ASPE standards and building/plumbing codes at national, state, and local levels.
• Demonstrated local and stable work history, reflecting reliability and a commitment to the industry.
